Gary

Gary Lonnell, a California native by way of Nashville, Tennessee, began his relationship with the entertainment industry at the age of 12.


Influenced by his introduction to music recording and sound engineering at such an impressionable age, Gary's passion for music blossomed into a desire to explore other areas of entertainment.

Beginning in junior high school, Gary began starring in school productions and developing his acting skills. He balanced school, acting, and athleticism through high school and into college where he minored in theatre at the University of Oregon.

After a couple years of professional football in the AFL, Gary ended his athletic career and began building a professional career as an actor. Starting with local agencies and showing up for open calls, Gary pursued roles and attended training classes.

A year later Gary’s persistence paid off in a reoccurring role on the Don Johnson production Nash Bridges.

As the straight shooting mechanic, Tiny, Gary relished the role working with Don Johnson, Cheech Marin, and Clarence Clemmons, which opened the door for other parts.

With consistent roles in both film and television since appearing in Nash Bridges, Gary continues to explore the acting field taking on projects that create opportunity for growth professionally and personally.
